Paris French Flea Market Shopping Trip Adventure April 22 2010 Day 1 WE MADE IT!

It was a nailbiter! We knew if we didnt get out THIS DAY, the whole trip would have to be cancelled because of the Airline situation and the "Eye-for-gotta-yogurt" Volcano. We were the first flight out of Dallas, and all would have been smooth except the plane was broken on the ground for a 1 1/2 hr delay, then it broke in the air, but only caused no movies and no reading lights! So you slept or slept Too tired to write much but here are a few pics and I will write about them tomorrow.

Paris Flea Market Shopping Trip Day 2 Rested and Ready to GO April 23 2010

We all finally got some sleep and started our first full day in Paris! Today is tour day. This is our wonderful guide, Stephanie from Best of France Tours....

We walked through quaint villages and markets, on the left and right banks...

After the tour, we again met up with our personal shopping guide, Jodie for "flea market orientation". Those who remember, last year her hair was dark, this year she shocked us with platinum blonde! Still as cute

Then all dressed up.....

And off to dinner.....I better not post the picture taken with the variety of frenchmen that stopped by our table, drawn to all of these funny and beautiful women!!

Tomorrow, Marche Aux Puces...the oldest flea market in the world....for all day shopping...Woo Hoo!

Ready, Set, Shop!! Day 3 in Paris, beautiful, even WARM weather! Pre shopping pose with our matching roller bags which always stop traffic...

Marche aux puces, the oldest flea market in the world. We hit the ground running....

Doesnt take long for our bags to fill........

Did anybody NOT have FUN?..........

After 8 hours of nonstop shopping, we finally head back to the hotel for Show and Tell

SCORE!!! Tamra finds a Napolean era wasp Stockman dress form . Weta gets some great tapestries....

Though GiGi is recovering from a leg injury, she still brings home a stash. Janet finds fabulous prints and a 2 die for mirror that will be shipped home and we will add photos of later.
